Adding Maps into Apps

Long Abstract From photos, moving images, weather like wind and rain quantities, data of energy efficiency of buildings to visualizing concentrations of populations and many more - it is not possible to comprehend the huge amounts of geographical data without customized maps solutions. The talk will show how maps can be integrated into modern Android applications and interact with web services based on Typo3 and other CMS. Examples will include Google Maps and Open Street Maps. We will show how to use the geo location data of photos taken with the phone to show up as icons on a map at the location they were taken.
